Dear Chess friends,

After a succesfull start (2007) the 7th Leiden Chess Tournament is being organized.
The organization is in hands of the Stichting Denksportpromotie Nederland, a foundation for mindsports. The tournament is sponsored by donations to the foundation (about 10 sponsors).

The tournament will take place in the Leiden Denksportcentrum, from
July 12 – 21, 2013.

The opening for LCT 2013 will take place in Leiden on July 11th. The schedule is Swiss nine rounds, according to FIDE rules (two bye’s possible in the first six rounds). For both groups A and B KNSB rating points and obtained FIDE ratings will be forwarded to the FIDE organization.

The total amount (prizes) will be > € 5500 euro (at minimum of 120 players),
first prize will be: A-group € 1750 euro and B-groep € 500 euro.

Entry fee:
Group A (> 1900 ELO) and group B (< 1950 ELO):
payment before July 1st € 50,00 and after July 1st € 55 at the playinghall
Players with a FIDE title and a rating over 2350 no entree fee
